Lawrence Patrick Scarinzi, known to his family and friends as either “Larry” or “Pat”, passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer on March 16, 2026. He was 61.

Born in Morristown, to the late Edith and Larry Scarinzi, Jr., he was a long-time resident of Whippany, graduating from Whippany Park High School. He later attended trade school with a focus on computers. He worked for the US Postal Service for over 30 years.

Larry enjoyed tinkering with various machines and could fix practically anything. He also looked forward to attending various sporting events and competitions with his girls competing and enjoying meals with, and other activities with them.

He was a steady force who handled difficulties with grace.

He is survived by his sisters, Bernadette and Gina Marie.
