Timothy Allen, known to family and friends as Tim, was born on November 3, 1960, in Newark, New Jersey, and passed away on October 8, 2026, at St.Peter's hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, from natural causes.
Tim was a loving, analytical, and funny man whose steady presence brought comfort and joy to those who knew him. He lived a life marked by devotion to his family, pride in his work, and a warm faith that guided him throughout his years. A Christian by faith, he carried himself with great strength and a generous spirit, and he will be remembered for the kindness he showed and the laughter he shared.
He graduated from Orange High School and later attended Essex County College, where he received his Laboratory Technician Certification. Tim valued education and applied himself with diligence in every chapter of his life. His professional journey reflected both skill and dedication, beginning with his work as a laboratory technician at Givaudan Flavors Company in Parsippany, New Jersey. He later served as Senior Quality Control Technician at Takasago International Corporation in Teterboro, New Jersey, where he worked for 16 years before retiring on September 30, 2026.
In his early years, he served as General Manager at Allot Wine Distribution Center in Carteret, New Jersey, demonstrating the strong work ethic and leadership that defined him.
Tim was deeply devoted to his family and treasured the time he spent with them. His family was truly the center of his life. He is survived by his wife, Carole Allen; his daughters, Joy Allen and Mia Allen; his grandson, Silas Austin; his sisters, Carolyn Allen, Julia Hughes and her husband Charles, Brenda Allen, Patsy Allen, Tina Woods and her husband Bruce, Yvette Shelton, and brothers, Joey Allen and Mark Allen and wife Gail. He was preceded in death by his brother Leroy Allen Jr., as well as his mother and father, Lula Mae and Leroy Allen. He found great happiness in being present for the people he loved most.
Among the many things that brought Tim joy were simple and meaningful moments. Like cheering his grandson on at soccer games, reminiscing on old times with his daughters, wife and siblings and watching old movies. These were the times that reflected his heart most clearly, as he found happiness in being together and in witnessing the lives of those he cherished.
His loved ones will remember his humor, his thoughtful nature, and the way he could bring warmth to any room.
Those who knew Tim will remember a man who was both practical and tender-hearted, He had a way or making others feel at ease and of offering support without hesitation. His presence was a gift to his family, friends, and colleagues, and his memory will continue to live on in the many lives he touched.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote, "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." Timothy Allen lived a life that reflected that truth in countless ways. He made life easier for others through his love, his loyalty, and his steady example.
Tim's passing leaves a deep void, but his legacy of devotion, laughter, and integrity remains strong. He will be remembered with love, honored with gratitude, and missed beyond measure by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
