It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Kevin Scott Brown, Sr., beloved father and grandfather, on March 19, 2026.
Kevin was born on November 24, 1958, in Manhattan, New York, to William Brown and Elaine Brown. He was raised in Harlem, New York, and attended Julia Richmond High School in Manhattan before graduating from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, New Jersey.
He worked as a pressman for over 30 years at Copy King in Avenel, New Jersey, and AK Printing in Union, New Jersey, where he was known for his skill in operating the printing press and his ability to achieve perfect color matching.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Brown and Elaine Brown; his brothers, George Washington and Harrison Carter; and his sisters, Karen Annette Brown and Linda Joan Garrett.
Kevin is survived by his children, Rhonda Brown, Robyn Pierre (Jethro), and Kevin Brown Jr.; his grandchildren, Tseahni, Tseani, Jett, Kali, Maverick, Onyx, Isla, and Sky; his sisters, Marilyn Brown (Tony), Darlene Brown, Shawn Cassett (Donnie), and Kimberly Brown; a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and his cherished partner, Tiffany Borom.
