Amira Sanchez

Amira Sanchez, affectionately known as Mir Mir, danced her way into the world to Fernando Sanchez and Judy Clarke on June 23, 2010, in New Brunswick, NJ. She brought fifteen years of light, laughter, and music to everyone blessed to know her. On March 10, 2026, Amira’s beautiful spirit took its place among the stars, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever shine in our hearts.

Amira’s kind and gentle nature made everyone feel seen and loved. She had a soul that radiated warmth, a laugh that could brighten any room, and a sense of humor that brought comfort when words fell short. To those who knew her best, Amira was a melody - vibrant, soulful, and unforgettable. She loved to sing and dance, often filling her home with the sound of her voice, a voice that reflected pure joy and boundless love.

Amira attended Plainfield Public Schools from pre-school to fifth grade. She then continued to excel in Hopatcong Public Schools from sixth to ninth grade.

Though her time here was far too brief, Amira’s love continues to ripple outward - in every song, every smile, and every heart she touched. Her memory is an everlasting melody of grace, courage, laughter, and light.
