On the morning of July 20, 2024, surrounded by family and friends, the angels wrapped their arms around Qwene' Shadaya Boyd and whispered to her, “Come my child to a new home not made by man where there will be no more sickness and everyday will be nothing, but joy.”
Qwene' was born on June 6, 1987, to Eartha L. Daniels and David D. Boyd in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
Qwene' moved through the Jersey City school system and after graduating she sprung south to attending Southwest Mississippi Community College to further her education. As life's journey sometimes throws a curve ball in our plans her illness would prevail and she returned home to Jersey City, New Jersey.
Qwene’ loved her family dearly was notorious for making everyone around her laugh. Her laughter was contagious. She always had jokes or something funny to share. She was a lover of music and always found a way to vibe to the music she loved regardless if she was in or out of the hospital.

Always a fashionista, she would push through the pain, put on a smile and step into the latest fashions, make-up and hair styles. She was a true Diva.
Qwene' was a fixer, maybe not like Olivia Pope, but close to it. She could fix anything with her hands just call out QWENE’ HELP and she would appear with tools in hand.
God blessed Qwene' with two beautiful sons, A’den and AJ.
