9:26 PM May 3rd 2026 at Hackensack Hospital Glen Anthony Smith passed away the same way he came into this world, in the arms of his mother Clare Gordon.
Born on February 23rd 1961 at Kingston Public Hospital in Jamaica, he went on to graduate from Papine Secondary and gain employment at Palbo’s Department Store where he met his future wife Loraine Davis. She gave birth to his first son Nathan Smith September 13th 1987 before migrating together to USA, Paterson, NJ in 1988 where they were married at St. Paul’s Episocpoal Church on December 22nd 1990. His first daughter Samantha Smith was born on October 4th 1996 as Glen was a loving father and hard worker. He was employed full time at Sadvik Coromant for over 20 years as a lead engineer and worked in security for over 15 years at Metlife Stadiums amongst other part time jobs.
Glen loved his family and music and was known to DJ often with his friends at parties. He was a husband, a father , a son , a brother, a friend, and a great man. As he was beloved by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandsons and others that he leaves behind at this time and place.
